I don't get what's so wrong with Dead Island. Yes, I do agree it needed a bit more polish, but I've been playing like 150+ hours and never encountered anything that could break the entire experience.
The only big disappointment I had with it was the presence of some absurd plot holes and the lack of effort regarding the few cutscenes of the game, but even Gears of War 3 had the same issues.
Otherwise, it's certainly not the best game ever developed, bu...
I really loved the Rat Club from Hitman: Blood Money.

Small, tight, corridors, one-on-one designed fights, camping spot and rooftops everywhere, that's not the feel every other maps of the game give (excepted for Paris), with big and open areas.
It just feels like common Modern Warfare maps.
And is there a way to play BF3 with the patch but without the Back to Karkand maps? I find them terrible, too much Call of Duty-like.
Yes, VGAs are good for the advertising industry. So much of commercials for such a bland show, it surely give them some gratuitous audience ratings.
Video Game Awards:
1 hour of show, 1 hour of commercials.
In this hour of show, we have:
5 minutes of trailers, 15 minutes of awards (including nominees videos), 30 minutes of douchebag monologue, 5 minutes of old and tired non-gaming celebrities and finally 5 minutes of some kind of lame sketchy moments with a girl or two.
In this hour of commercials, we have:
20 minutes of CES ad, 20 minutes of Chevrolet ads, and 20 minutes of typica...
Pretty interesting to notice how much video games can be gagged in Germany due to its ferocious sense of censorship, yet still being one of the "biggest" (if we can consider it as big) video game consumers.
And the government would chose to destroy the ship with a nuclear iceberg before Titanic reaches the land.
How about comparing the animated Tekken movie to the live action Tekken movie released around two years ago?
I'm definitely interested in knowing which one is the worst.
Definitely an awesome move, especially considering it's a great indie pack.
When will people stop trying to convince Modern Warfare 3 isn't "that much" disappointing?
It feels like a street vendor that didn't get the "I don't want your garbage" in the word "No".
Let's admit it: Modern Warfare 3 is probably good, but not as good as we could have hoped, because it tastes like a good old pizza you've baked ten times in the microwave oven.
That's basically the Activision form...
How is that trolling to use our eyes and see that 80% of the menu is made of advertising? There are so much of them it feels like you're living in Time Square.
I don't mind changes, but Xbox 360 definitely didn't need to look like a Windows Phone.
I was wondering how could Microsoft put more ads than in the current dashboard version. Seems like the Metro interface is pushing further the boundaries.
Considering how boring and bland was the last king, i'd rather play cheap diversions that are actually fun to play.
How about not screwing up an entire generation of handhelds with piracy, for once?
Is this Kojima that trolled you or the magazines and sites that yelled out everywhere MGS5 was planned?
Around 2.0 of K/D ratio? That's pretty low for top players, especially considering they have nearly 80% of win percentage.
Can't wait to play it on my Dreamcast, looks gorgeous.
It seems too easy to achieve to be an exploit. Can't it be simply a hidden feature?
Man, it must have been such a depressing year to get so much "disappointing games" articles.
Yet, I take again the defense of Dead Island, like I already did with the previous one.
Seriously, you mostly hated the game because you wasn't able to hit enemies with your knife? Isn't it obvious that you have to adapt your fighting style to the length of your weapon? And because of your incompetence to adapt your fightstyle to your weapon, you think Dead I...
